What: Oil of Joy Worship Interpretive Movement is a grace-filled, flowing, Christ-centered uplifting movement activity incorporating gentle moves based on functional fitness movement, modern and ballet dance basics, and movement disciplines of Feldenkrais®. American Sign Language and interpretive Christian signing to an array of Christian music styles is a central part of this experience.
All abilities welcome. Please dress comfortably for movement.
Purpose: This Biblically-driven movement workshop is designed to encourage a deeper, worshipful, more loving and authentic connection to God thereby supporting our journey to be better Christ-followers…..and doers of love. It is also for curious Christ seekers who want to learn more about the depth of salvation, through movement. A safe space for all who attend, the facilitator leads and encourages students to find their self-expression, creativity and to “tell” their redemptive story, or to learn more about the hope of salvation, through movement. There will be creative interpretations of popular Christian themes and sound Biblical theology, through scripture songs.
