“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35
There is no one we’ll ever lay eyes on who isn’t loved by God and who shouldn’t be loved by us. God’s heart is for all people to come to know Him, and He uses us, the church, to draw people to Himself. What a thrilling experience that is! Is there anything better than partnering with the Creator of the universe to bring people into a love relationship with Him?
This Sunday, we start a new series called Love Everyone, Always. Our vision at PCC is to see the hope of Christ move through the Peninsula, so that people can come to know the gift of new life in Christ. We want to empower the generations to passionately follow Christ, one home at a time. And we know that the way we’ll do that is by loving everyone, always.
All September long, we will be refreshed in our vision to love our city and the people in it. I’m so excited to walk through this month together and be equipped with practical ways to love, bless, and serve others. I hope you’ll make it a priority to gather with the church for each of the next four weeks.
I love being your pastor!
