Bridges@PCC plans hiking adventures the 4th Saturday of every month. They are easy-level on mostly flat trails. And after our hike we usually meet up someplace for coffee or lunch.
CHANGE OF VENUE!
We are replacing the October Dish Trail hike with Los Trancos Trails due to very limited parking at the Dish. Join us on Saturday, October 26 from 9–11am at Los Trancos. This 3.2 mile hike is in a shaded forest-like beautiful and unique environment.
This is an ideal spot to learn about earthquake geology. Our trail will follow the San Andreas Fault for a short distance. We’ll see where the fault moved a fence five feet. We’ll follow Los Trancos Creek for a distance. The hike is an easy to moderate level difficulty; elevation: 2000′. Wear shoes with soles that grip and bring water.
Directions: Take Woodside Road/84 to Skyline and turn left. Drive approximately 7.2 miles to Page Mill and turn left. Drive 1.3 miles to Los Trancos Open Space and turn left into the parking lot.
