God’s Heart For The World Offering

God’s Heart For The World Offering

Support God’s Heart for the World 2025!

The offering will be taken February 23, 2025 and provides support to the following three organizations who are engaged in meeting cutting edge social and development needs while offering discipleship pathways.

Grace Place Initiative

Grace Place was formed by three women who all have been part of PCC. Originally begun under the umbrella of Street Life Ministries, Grace Place Initiative became its own non-profit organization in April 2024.

They opened a transitional home in Redwood City for women and children to live in for two years while looking for permanent housing. While there, these families receive support with job hunting, addiction recovery, court appointments, discipleship support and more.

Their mission is: To provide safe and immediate housing for vulnerable women and children and show God’s love by meeting tangible and spiritual needs.

Their vision: To have guests feel loved by God so that they know they are not alone in their crisis.

Karawa Coffee Project

The economy of the Ubangi region in Congo was devastated by wars in the 1990s. Fungal disease affecting coffee plants impacted it further. The quick collapse of the coffee sector in this region plunged the population of Ubangi into disarray and affected rural areas, making it difficult to access education, healthcare, water, and sanitation.

Begun in 2017, the Paul Carlson Partnership (along with 2 African organizations) began working with coffee producers to create a producing and exporting enterprise that will endure through the generations.

Our donations will go to building up production (roasting and hulling) technology that will allow the farmers to be more profitable, offer more jobs opportunities, move out of extreme poverty, tithe and adequately support their families.

Borderless Africa

Borderless Africa is a hub where many North Africans and Middle Easterners escaping violence and persecution flee across Europe’s southern border, the Mediterranean Sea. Disciple makers open cafes to share hospitality and love with these migrants, who are mostly Muslim.

Newly arrived refugees are the most open to the Gospel when it is shared in genuine love and many Muslims are being transformed by following Jesus in a safe place. This offering will help fund the development of welcome centers throughout Europe specifically reaching this population.

Because of previous GHFTW offering projects, the largest of these centers has been developed in southern Spain. Today dozens of refugees every day are welcomed by men and women of God who walk with them through the process of discovering God’s love and will for their lives while they are assimilating to life in a new place. Some have even begun returning to their home countries to minister the gospel.
