On August 14, 1951 in a peninsula living room, 22 people prayed and asked God for a church that would “go to the people” sharing the Gospel in a new and fresh way. When praying about a name, God gave them the vision to be a regional church so they settled on the Peninsula Covenant Church.
While those men and women never imagined that God would one day bless PCC with a 15 acre campus, a Community Center, School Aged Child Care program, Preschool and a church all of which touch close to 10,000 people every week on the peninsula, they did envision a church that would not settle to simply open its doors and wait for people to come to them.
Webster’s dictionary defines reboot as: to refresh by making a new start or creating a new version. In the next four weeks we want to do just that! Looking back and refreshing our 2025 vision and looking forward in faith at what our city needs most from us…living into the mission to empower the generations to passionately follow Christ…one home at a time!
