Our view of God is the most important thing about us. It shapes how we feel about God and the values and priorities we have in interacting with others. But God is immortal and we’re only human, so how do we discover who He is and what He’s like? You’ll discover that the best way to get to know God is by looking at the One He sent—Jesus.
In coming face to face with Jesus, we will in turn treat every face we face with the love and compassion of Jesus, knowing that every person is loved by God, bears God’s image, and would be accepted by God if they repented and received God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus.

So then, from now on, we have a new perspective that refuses to evaluate people merely by their outward appearances. For that’s how we once viewed Christ, but no longer do we see him with limited human insight.17 Now, if anyone is new into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. 18 And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 (TPT)
