Serve at PCC (Updated)

Find Your Spot! There's no better way to meet people and make new friends than to join PCC Serve. Take a look at the many teams, who all serve God, our PCC family, and one another.

We’ve been at the PCC for 7 or 8 years now but just recently started serving on the patio team, welcoming folks with coffee and donut holes! Not only is it fun, but our family (we all serve) has grown closer and closer to God and the PCC community since we started. I now understand what it means to be a community in Christ!

Hospitality | Create a Place to Belong

The Hospitality Team creates a welcoming environment for everyone who walks onto our campus, and we know that many people decide how they feel about church before the service even begins. You’ll help guests feel seen, welcomed, and connected from the moment they arrive through serving coffee, greeting, and so much more.

Help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn about Jesus and build lasting faith. Whether you’re welcoming families at check-in or serving in a classroom, you’ll play an important role in helping children feel known, loved, and connected.

If serving from the spotlight isn’t your thing, consider joining the Production Team. From cameras and audio to slides and livestreaming, there are plenty of ways to make an impact. No experience or equipment is necessary, our team will help train and coach you every step of the way.

Worship is one of the primary ways we form our faith together as a church. Whether you sing or play an instrument, your gifts can help create meaningful moments that encourage, challenge, and draw people closer to Jesus.

Through post-service prayer, email requests, personal follow-up, and care for those who are sick or homebound, the Prayer Team helps carry the needs of our community before God.

Stephen Ministers provide compassionate, one-on-one care to people experiencing difficult seasons such as grief, illness, loss, or major life transitions. If you have a heart for listening, encouraging, and caring for others, we’ll equip you with the training and support to serve with confidence.

Leading a Growth Group or Life Group is one of the most meaningful ways to invest in others at PCC. Whether you’re facilitating a short-term Growth Group or walking alongside people in a long-term Life Group, you’ll help create a space where people can know Jesus more deeply, build authentic relationships, and take their next step in faith. We provide training, resources, and support so you don’t have to do it alone.

Our Peninsula Community Center, SACC After School Care, and Preschool offer unique opportunities to serve children, families, and our local community throughout the week. Whether you’re mentoring, helping at events, supporting programs, or sharing your skills, you can be part of extending the love of Jesus beyond our church walls.

Life is meant to be lived together. Through volunteering with Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, or Encore, you’ll discover spaces to help lead others to grow in faith, build authentic relationships, and encourage one another through Bible studies, gatherings, and shared experiences.

Help kids build friendships through games, activities, and meaningful group experiences weekly. And give parents a well deserved break!

Every year, hundreds of children, students and adults experience the love of Jesus through our seasonal camps and special events. Whether you’re leading a small group, welcoming families, running games, or serving behind the scenes, you’ll help create fun, safe, and meaningful experiences that can have a lasting impact.

FAQS

Find answers to common questions about serving at PCC.

Are there any requirements to serving?

We have a spot for you to jump in whenever you’re ready! But there are a few requirements: a background check and references are required for everyone and some roles are only open to people who have attended PCC for at least 6 months.

Each team and role requires a different frequency for serving, but we can help find a team and role that works with your availability.

Yes you can! Some roles might conflict with one another for availability, but if the scheduling works you can serve in as many areas as you’d like.
