At PCC, we offer two ways to experience community and grow in following Jesus:
Growth Groups are short-term groups, typically 6–7 weeks, designed for those who want to explore a group or make a shorter commitment. And when the community and momentum are right, a Growth Group can become a Life Group!
Life Groups are ongoing communities for those looking to build deeper relationships and grow as disciples of Jesus over time.
We are so glad you asked.
Start by checking out all of our open groups. Once you decided on a Growth or a Life Group you’ll request to join a group and the group leader will reach out directly to you.
Not sure what is what your best next step? Fill out our group interest form and our spiritual formation team will help you find a group!
We encourage you to join just one life group. By committing to one group, we believe you and the group will flourish even more.
Groups are available various days of the week. Each group meets at different times and locations throughout the peninsula and South Bay. Find a group that best fits your schedule!
If you join a group that meets on Wednesday nights, PCC has a Mid-week program for kids Toddlers through 5th grade, or some groups include kids in their group time.
Anyone who is a follower of Jesus and committed to PCC can be a Life Group Leader. Life Group Leaders are trained and supported by the Spiritual Formation Team and all have a Group Lead Volunteer assigned to support their leadership.
Groups meet in various locations. Some meet on campus and some meet in homes. This information is all indicated on the group finder’s description of the group.
It does not cost a thing! From time to time Groups will decide to study a book together or may have a curriculum that has a fee. This would be the only cost that might come up and this decision is made at the group level.
We are here to help! You are not stuck in a group for life. If it is not working you can try another group! One thing to keep in mind…sometimes someone who feels like a mismatch for you may be part of your formation experience.
