God’s Heart For The World Offering

God’s Heart For The World Offering

Support God’s Heart for the World 2026!

The offering will be taken February 8, 2026 and provides support to the following three organizations who are engaged in meeting cutting edge social and development needs while offering discipleship pathways.

Malawi Children’s Mission, Malawi, Africa

PCC has supported Malawi Children’s Mission for over 20 years. Ken Mpemba, Executive Director, was a summer intern at PCC in 2003 and 2004. He is married to Avisha who grew up at PCC.

MCM walks alongside orphaned and vulnerable children age 3-28, providing individualized support through a compassionate, whole-child approach. MCM nutures education, health, stability, and character so that every child has the opportunity to discover their strengths, build independence, and fulfill their God-given potential. In 2021, they received a God’s Heart grant to create a vocational training program as an outreach to former MCM students. They offered tailoring and barbering/hairdressing courses.

The current request is an expansion on that program to train young adults on installing and supporting renewable energy, such as solar power. This kind of training would benefit many people in the area as the electrical system is unreliable.

The training program also includes integrating the Christian faith through daily devotions, mentoring relationships, and biblical lessons.

All Nations, Hamburg, Germany

All Nations Germany brings the Gospel to migrant populations (refugees and asylum seekers) in Germany. They host Welcome Cafes to build relationships in order to share Jesus around the table.

This request is twofold:
1. to create a Seekers’ Course that explicitly shares the Gospel. Through friendships built in refugee camps, diaspora people are invited to the course where over a shared meal and community, they experience biblically relevant discussions.
2. to upgrade the kitchen and environment from which meals are served. Your support helps turn a simple meal into a sign of welcome, care, and belonging in a place filled with the incarnate Jesus.

Their desire and expectation is that German churches will witness what is happening among the refugee populations and joyfully begin to partner with us in a long-term, sustainable capacity.

The format of these Seekers’ Courses is Discovery Bible Study, which is natural and relational,
and flows easily into discipleship relationships. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity
to join existing house churches led by indigenous workers, or they can have the opportunity to plant a new house church.

Juntos

Juntos is a collaboration between Peninsula Covenant Church (PCC) and Comunidad Familiar Cristiana (CFC) to transform the Fair Oaks area in Redwood City for Christ.

CFC has been a sister church to PCC for over 15 years. Together, we desire to demonstrate mutual fellowship in Christ as two distinct congregations sharing a common mission field: Redwood City. PCC has long had a heart for East Redwood City, while CFC brings deep cultural understanding and experience ministering among its predominantly Spanish-speaking residents.

PCC is joining CFC in their already established ministry relationships within a trailer park community in East Redwood City that includes roughly fifty units. This community has repeatedly faced hardships from flooding and a 2012 fire. CFC has been faithfully serving this neighborhood, and we have been invited to come alongside them. It is a tremendous opportunity and an honor to partner with them in this ministry.

The funds from this offering will be seed money to provide biblical and educational resources to encourage spiritual growth, create outreach events, such as community gatherings, create an Alpha program, and provide scholarships for residents.
