Care – dealing with a crisis situation
Coaching – dealing with future goals and dreams
Counseling – dealing with past or current struggles
Stephen Ministry: Timely help when you need it most.
In need of someone to care and listen? Stephen Ministers care for people during life transitions:
- loss of a loved one
- job loss
- marriage issues
- other life struggles
Stephen Ministry is a free, confidential support ministry. While not professional counselors, Stephen Ministers are selected, trained and equipped to meet weekly, privately and confidentially. We provide one-to-one listening support, encouragement and hope for anyone in our congregation or community. We care and listen without judgment.
Contact us if you feel you could benefit from the Christian care of a Stephen Minister.
Stephen Ministry Training begins January 27, 2020.

Community Care & Assistance
For those facing a financial challenge, Peninsula Covenant Church will consider providing assistance from its Community Care Fund. Peninsula Covenant Church is NOT a government-assisted agency. All available resources are collected by donations from the church community and given to members of the local community as a blessing.
To request assistance, please fill out the following online application.
Contact Patty Naff if you have any questions.
The CARE Team is an unpaid staff ministry of Peninsula Covenant Church gathered to meet the tangible needs of our community in Jesus’ name. CARE is made up of six teams that work with church leadership to assist those in and outside the PCC community.
Meal Team – Coordinates, prepares and delivers hundreds of meals each year as a reminder that God provides
Visitation Team – Acts as hospital and home chaplains, bringing encouraging words, prayer and a presence that says, God Loves You!
Transportation Team – Assists people to doctors’ appointments, shopping, or even to the airport
Flowers – Delivers flowers to brighten the day of those who need encouragement
Card Team – Sends out hundreds of cards each year to remind people God cares and celebrates them
Memorial Reception Team – provides a venue and setting for guests to gather following a memorial
Contact: If you know of a need or want to participate, please contact Gae Reck, CARE Team Coordinator.
Coaching involves a dialogue of discovery between two individuals (coach & PBC) that helps the person being coached (PBC) move forward.
While mentors, consultants, and counselors bring experience, solutions and therapeutic approaches, coaches act as guides, who are trained in a powerful questioning strategy designed to help the PBC unlock their own answers and actions steps.
Get a Coach
At PCC, we have trained individuals who are passionate about supporting others in specific areas of life. To acquire a coach, please contact the designated person. An application and initial paperwork may be required for certain areas of coaching. Once assigned a coach, you will then be responsible for setting up an initial session. At the initial session with your coach, goals will be clarified, and the number of sessions determined. In most cases, the only cost in coaching is materials, unless otherwise noted.
